A delegation from World Bank visited PITB to meet esteemed Director General- Government Digital Services DG (GDS) Mr. Muhammad Waseem Bhatti and discuss the modalities of World Bank’s program Punjab Resource Improvement and Digital Effectiveness (PRIDE). The PRIDE initiative aims at strengthening digital connectivity as a key foundation for digital economy development and enhancing government’s capacity for digitally-enabled public services. The delegation included Senior Economist for South Asia region Mr. Derek H. C. Chen and Task Team Lead Akmal Minallah.

The delegation were presented an overview of the project along with walk through of the facility. DG (GDS) PITB briefed on the range of services offered and their impact on citizen facilitation and discussed key areas of collaboration. They highly lauded the efforts of said team for creating citizen friendly environment and provision of citizen services in such an efficient, transparent and esteemed manner.
