According to the THE PUNJAB INFORMATION OF TEMPORARY RESIDENTS ACT 2015 (http://punjablaws.gov.pk/laws/2591.html), whenever a house or a hostel room is rented, owner/tenant/property dealer have to register details (owner, property, tenant info.) in concerned police station for record purpose. Registration can be done by visiting concerned Police Station or nearby e-Khidmat Markaz. After successful registration, front desk officer will provide a certificate to the citizen which will help him/her to avoid any hassle during any search operation.
Whenever someone hires a servant, a maid or any other worker he/she has is bound to register them with Police so that Police has information about the people living in that area. The process of registration has been simplified and can be done by visiting any e-Khidmat Markaz. This will help citizens and Police to be aware about any criminal record of the potential employee.
e-Khidmat Markaz Vehicle Verification Module provides complete mechanism for verification of a vehicle through Police Record and Forensic Expert Report. If a citizen wants to purchase/transport a vehicle he/she can needs to make sure that vehicle is not stolen and has no record in any police station across Punjab.
